Charlie got to spend Saturday afternoon celebrating her friend's birthday at his grandparents' farm. One of the other moms gave Charlie the ultimate compliment - that despite the fact that she has a love of all things girly, that she does fine with the boys, too, and doesn't mind playing rough or getting dirty.

The girls longtime babysitter Heidi sent them these adorable dresses and headbands. Charlie loves hers so much that she tries to sleep in it every night.

Sloane's School Picnic

Here is Sloane with her teachers, Ms. Gallant and Ms. Bass. Mary Claire and Charlie also had them as teachers. All the girls adore them and Sloane seems especially attached. In fact, when I put her down for her nap today she cried, "Wanna see Bassgallant." She would also get so mad at me on Monday and Wednesday mornings when I would drop Charlie off for school and she wouldn't get to go.

Charlie chose her good friend Griffin to help pass out the napkins. Griffin is the same boy Charlie's teachers overheard her saying to last year, "You ARE my boyfriend. You ARE my boyfriend."
